The steps required to making a hand painted famous artist oil painting reproduction on canvas.

#1 The drawing: All our great oil paintings start off with a charcoal sketch of the shapes and figures onto the painting canvas.

#2 The undercoat: Following the charcoal drawing, we paint the underlying shapes of the reproduction oil painting, the backgrounds and fill in the main forms and colors with large brushes, keeping the edges soft.

#3 The forms: At this stage we begin building up the shapes on the oil painting reproduction, we paint in the light and dark colors, building up or reducing the hue intensity to create the depth and after each layer of color the oil paint needs to dry.

#4 The texture: Using the painting technique used by the famous artist we begin using different brush sizes and types with more or less paint on the brush to add the textures and the unique features from the original oil painting to the reproduction oil painting.

#5 The details: the color density, shadow placement, background color effects and other elements of the oil painting are done now.

#6 The finished oil painting: After we have finished the oil painting, we are not yet finished with it. One of our senior Worlds Artist will inspect and add any finishing details if needed. At this point the oil painting is ready to be sent to an appreciative art enthusiast.
